This notice explains how information is handled when you use the Black Belt Canine Rehab and Performance website, contact me, book a call, or subscribe to the newsletter. I’m Wesley Reed, the owner of the practice. This notice covers the public website and initial communications; clinical intake and care records are handled separately.
When you contact me
If you email me, I receive your email address, your message, and any other information you choose to include. I use that information to respond, discuss your dog’s needs, and arrange next steps. Email is handled through Thundermail. You can read the Thundermail privacy policy.
Please keep initial messages general. Don’t send payment details, passwords, or clinical records and attachments through the website’s email link. If we work together, I’ll explain how to provide the information needed for your dog’s care.
When you book a call
The booking buttons take you to Calendly rather than an embedded calendar. Calendly processes the contact details, scheduling information, and answers you enter there. I use the booking information to arrange and follow up on your call. Read the Calendly privacy notice for information about its processing.
When you subscribe
Newsletter signup is optional and uses Sequenzy. When you submit the form, your email address is sent to Sequenzy so I can send the newsletter and manage your subscription. Booking a call or emailing me does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Sequenzy may process technical signup and delivery information. Depending on email settings, it may also record email opens and link clicks to help understand delivery and engagement. Read the Sequenzy privacy policy for details about its services.
When you visit the site
NixiHost is the selected website host. Hosting and embedded-service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested resources, and request times to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot their services. Read the NixiHost privacy policy for information about the hosting provider.
The newsletter form loads from Sequenzy when a page opens, even if you don’t submit your email address. Loading the form and its branding can send technical request information to the provider. No separate advertising pixels or standalone visitor-analytics scripts have been added to this version of the website.
Third-party tools and linked websites have their own privacy practices and may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some technologies may affect those tools. Following the Instagram or Facebook links takes you to those services; this site does not embed their feeds.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or email me to ask to stop receiving it. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete previous correspondence or care records. A limited suppression record may be retained to help honor your unsubscribe request.
You can also email info@blackbeltcanine.dog to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Requests will be handled subject to applicable requirements and any records that need to be retained.
Keeping information
Information is used for the purposes described in this notice and shared with service providers as needed to operate those services. It may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address a security issue. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective policies.
I keep inquiry, scheduling, and subscription information for as long as needed for those purposes, appropriate recordkeeping, and applicable obligations. Provider records and backups may follow their own retention schedules. No website or email service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive information through initial contact channels.
Questions and changes
For privacy questions, contact Wesley Reed at info@blackbeltcanine.dog. I may update this notice when the website or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
